Maintenance & Aftercare
You can rest assured that even after our installation teams have left the site we are always available to deal with all your playground maintenance and aftercare queries. We have a team of people, from health and safety specialists, sales, design, aftercare and maintenance teams to ensure that if you have any questions or queries the right person will be on-hand to deal with these.
You have no need to worry, if any small snagging issues arise, our dedicated playground maintenance team are on-hand to deal with these promptly.
Maintenance of the playground area
• Tool box talks on handover to ensure the staff who will be using and maintaining the space are well versed with how all features should be used and cared for.
• Complimentary Post Installation Check within approximately 3 months after completion or opening.
• Complimentary Maintenance Brochure, detailing what maintenance is needed for all the play elements is supplied to the school upon project completion.
• We can offer various Playground Maintenance Contracts that can be tailored to suit your needs, call the Playgarden office on 0114 282 1285.
Specials
Occasionally our customers ask us for assistance in other ways that may not be considered the norm but we are more than happy to provide advice where we can. This has included:
• Running workshops days with teachers and children to decide exactly what they want within their outdoor environment
• Writing a play policy
• Writing a benefit risk assessment
• Design training and workshop days with teaching staff around their new outdoor space – working with recognised trainers and experts to facilitate this. This can be around specific subject areas such as den building, mud play, willow weaving and sand and water play… to name just a few. We are also able to involve more specialist consultants such as Jan White who can work with the setting on training programmes. Working with local artists to incorporate their designs into our designs!
