Working in consultation with you Playgarden offers lots of invaluable specialist support, taking the worry out of developing your outdoor space. We do know that for some settings, developing their outdoors can be a challenge to know what is best. This is why we are completely non-prescriptive in our approach, as every setting is unique and special. At the end of the process you will receive EXACTLY the playspace design that best suits your needs.
We find that the very best projects are those that are clear about what they want to achieve within their outdoor environment. This is where the specialist support from our Landscape Architect team will help you. Experts in play and creating learning environments for EYFS, KS1&2, Special Needs and Secondary spaces, the Architect is able to identify the best approach that meets your needs and budget. This could be to:
• Develop a design and costing to a current budget
• Develop a masterplan with a phased development
• Develop a phased approach that can be used for fundraising in stages
• Develop a plan that allows your team, staff and pupils to help implement
We believe that engagement from all levels within the setting is imperative. As part of the process the Landscape Architect can meet with the Senior Leadership Team, teaching staff, Governors and pupils.
Once the Architect has developed the initial design, then we believe it’s important to build in further discussion time to review the proposal. Following on from a review of the plan, changes can be made before a final design is agreed upon. This should match exactly your needs.
The costs for the Specialist Landscape Architect Consultation is £1,500 which is refunded if Playgarden do the project build. This includes;
• 1 day consultation including agreeing project brief. Full site measurements and schematics
• Professional CAD outline of the playscape with 3D designs
• Further visit from the Landscape Architect to review and evaluate the design and make changes accordingly
• Final design agreed upon
• Implementation of the design, if agreed, at a timescale to suit you
