An Outside Journey – Creating Inspiring Outdoor Experiences on a Shoestring
Outdoor learning environments are as varied and diverse as the settings, children and adults that make use of the space. We invite you to Greystones Primary School to see how we use our space and the spaces in the local community. Each outdoor environment has unique characteristics and features but all have made a positive impact on children’s well-being and development. This will be a chance to discuss the importance of outdoor learning, recognising it has equal importance to the indoor environment. We will share our experiences, how we have tried to overcome barriers and maximise outdoor learning in an urban environment from Foundation Stage into Key Stage One.
